The World's First EU MBA in Payments and Banking

We are proud to announce that the Soltesz Institute has launched the first EU MBA in the world with a specialisation in Payments and Banking. This is the first academic programme and a major step forward for the industry.

For the first time, payments and banking are formally recognised as a standalone business function I within higher education, reflecting their real impact on revenue, risk, operations, and scalability.

The programme is delivered in collaboration with eie European Business School, a licensed EU higher education institution regulated in Malta and aligned with the European Qualifications Framework, ensuring a fully recognised and structured MBA at EQF Level 7 .

This programme is very unique but serve a huge demand globally - as currently the Head of Payments, Chief Payment Officers and other professionals who manage payment and banking tasks are not adequately trained to do so. Key areas, such as how payments and banking affect technology, UX, compliance, and other essential aspects in a business, are absent from accounting, economics courses, and traditional MBAs. 

This MBA has a dual certificate, and the combination of academic depth and real industry application

This is the first time globally that such a structure exists.

This milestone gets us closer to our mission is to set standards and build an ethical and transparent payment and banking industry where everyone is properly trained and informed, and no one benefits from anyone's lack of knowledge.

Moving away from fragmented, self-taught approaches and towards a defined standard of knowledge, responsibility, and expertise in payments and banking is long due and we are happy to write history!
